Our Community Author Guidelines

1. Be Original

Publish your own original articles, stories, experiences and insights. Please do not copy content from other websites or publications.

2. Add Value

Write articles that educate, inspire or genuinely help members of the community. Ask yourself:

“Will someone finish reading this knowing something they didn’t know before?”

3. Stay Relevant

Articles should relate to Florida vacation rentals, travel, destinations, attractions, resorts, communities, property ownership or subjects of genuine interest to our members.

4. Be Honest

Write from your own knowledge and experience wherever possible. If expressing opinions, make it clear they are your own.

5. Respect Everyone

Treat fellow members, businesses and destinations with respect. Personal attacks, offensive language and discriminatory content will not be published.

6. Keep Promotion Sensible

You are welcome to reference your own property, business or services where genuinely relevant to the article. Articles whose primary purpose is advertising rather than helping readers may be declined.

7. Use Your Own Media

Please use photographs and videos that you own or have permission to use.

8. Quality Matters

Take a little time to check spelling, grammar and formatting. Clear, well-presented articles are easier and more enjoyable to read.

9. Editorial Review

All new authors and articles may be reviewed by our editorial team before publication to help maintain quality and consistency across the community.

10. Represent the Community
